WHAT'S BLOOMING WEDNESDAY
annabelle hydrangea

June 08, 2021

A perennial favorite, Annabelle hydrangea is ours and many others’ favorite flowering shrub. There are several good reasons we like this variety.

What’s Blooming Wednesday kicks off with more of Intreegue’s favorite flowers that are blooming in your neighborhood! We share our favorites as an opportunity for you to identify some of our favorite flowering plants, shrubs, and trees. Choose this week’s selections for your next commercial planting or backyard refresh.

Hydrangeas offer the garden a large summer boost in bloom, but many hydrangea varieties are not consistent in color or tend to flop over under the hefty blooms. We hold a preference for Annabelle for her strength of stem, beauty, and profuse blooms.
