We are very proud to announce a new office location in St. Helena, California. We are excited to bring our passion for design to the West Coast! We will strive to provide the same level of design quality and environmental stewardship which our clients have come to expect from Intreegue to the Bay Area.
The office is currently open and being headed by one of our long-time team members, Project Manager Kristen Apgar, CBLP-D.
“I’m honored to be a part of the Intreegue family and it’s growth. I’m passionate about connecting people with the natural landscape and promoting our natural resources. I’ve already met so many wonderful people out here, and I’m excited about what the future holds.”
If you’re ever in Napa Valley this time of year, the landscape is erupting in a vibrant yellow from mustard season. An incredibly beautiful time to visit wine country, large swaths of this colorful flower shimmer as far as the eye can see!
Mustard seed is more than just a pretty backdrop though – it is a vineyard’s friend with benefits! A cover crop, mustard seed prevents soil erosion by maintaining its moisture, regenerating it with nitrogen, and reducing weeds with its vigor and fast growth.
Whether you’re riding a bike through the valley or enjoying a glass of wine at a vineyard, the presence of golden blooms at this time of year is a telltale sign of health and prosperity!
Intreegue Design is a licensed landscape architecture firm operating in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and soon adding Napa Valley, California.
