Historically, Intreegue has been part of many community projects, and we love being able to connect with people and place through design, helping to realize the vision. The Urban Oasis is one of those projects that when we started, we were completely engaged by the passion of the executive director, Arica Gonzalez! Her passion for creating opportunities through the arts and well-being is contagious! The Urban Oasis will be holding their 1st Annual Fundraiser Cocktail Reception: Love to Life this Saturday. Join Intreegue in support of this community group and come for a good time, cocktails, raffle, silent auction, and DANCING of course! Colleen Vacelet and Khanh Uong from Design Development Architects are scheduled to say a few words about the impact of this project as a game changer. The Urban Oasis Project by Intreegue Design
The project intent is to give the community a space that is upscale, engaging, and most importantly, for the people that live there. The space will include an underground restaurant supported by the adjacent food centered gardens, a shed and teaching area to facilitate learning for younger community members, a stage for local concerts and events, a greenhouse, and a flex space that can be transformed for markets or used as a venue.
