ryan brown, associate CAPM, ASLA

Ryan joined Intreegue in 2017 after completing his bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD). At UMD, Ryan served on the executive committee for the LABash conference, and received the 2017 MDASLA Merit Award in recognition of outstanding professional achievement. He has also held positions on the MDASLA board.

For Ryan, Landscape Architecture combines his passion for the fabrication side of engineering with the artistic focus of landscape design. Now working as an Associate, he is proficient in managing commercial, institutional, and high-end residential designs with an emphasis on construction detailing and oversight. The scope of his interests is vast—from the design of residential recreation spaces to the planning of immersive themed gardens. He is particularly passionate about creating unique entertainment experiences for clients.

Today, Ryan is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) which demonstrates that he possesses the foundational knowledge and skills his projects demand. Some of Ryan’s most notable project work includes the Amazon Headquarters development in Arlington, VA where he performed constructability reviews and monitored construction quality throughout installation of the design, along with the management of designs and construction oversight for two buildings at the new Baltimore Peninsula including roof deck amenity spaces and streetscape courtyards.

When not at work, Ryan can be found renovating one of his investment properties or at a local coffee shop.
